Dream big — and be Responsible!

Today’s ROAR value is RESPONSIBLE — following through and taking care of what matters. Our house is Rêveur, the House of Dreamers. During Hispanic Heritage Month, we meet a dreamer who was responsible with her success.

Meet Rita Moreno! She came from Puerto Rico when she was little. She dreamed of singing and dancing — and she did it! She even performed on children’s TV shows to help kids learn.

Today’s ROAR letter is R — Responsible! And our house is Rêveur, the House of Dreamers. Rita dreamed big AND worked hard.

Meet Rita Moreno — born in Puerto Rico, she moved to New York as a child and became one of the very few performers to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. After winning her Oscar, she was offered mostly stereotyped roles that demeaned Latinas — and she turned them down, working far less for years rather than accept them.

Today’s ROAR value is Responsible. Our house is Rêveur, the House of Dreamers — and Rita shows that dreamers are also responsible for what they do with their success.
