This week’s word: COURAGE

Courage means doing something even when it feels hard or scary. It takes courage to try new things, speak up, and keep going when things get tough — Lions have it!

Word of the Day: COURAGE. Courage means being brave even when something feels hard. Lions are brave!

  • What is something that felt scary or hard to try, but you did it anyway?
  • How does it feel when you do something brave?

Stand up tall like a brave Lion! Now share one thing you want to be brave enough to try this school year.

With a partner, each share one thing that takes courage for you at school. Then tell each other: “I think you can do it!” Mean it — that’s what Lions do.
