We are a community of Lions!
A community is a group of people who share a place and take care of each other. Our classroom is a community, and so is our whole school!
Our class is a community — that means we all belong here, and we take care of each other.
Let’s talk
- How can you help take care of someone in our class today?
- Who is someone at school who helps take care of you?
Try it
Turn to your neighbor and say “Good morning, Lion!” with a wave or a high-five. That’s how a community says hello!
A community is more than people in the same place — it’s people who look out for one another. Our school motto is Owning, Knowing, and Elevating.
