Look how far we’ve come, Lions!

Today is the last day of August — our first full month together. Let’s look back at the community we’ve been building since day one.

We have been building our classroom community all month! A good community member is respectful, helpful, and kind.

  • What is one thing you love about being part of our class community?
  • Name one friend you have made this month — and tell us one thing you like about them!

Give the person next to you a compliment to close out August strong. Say their name and one kind thing — ready, Lions?

Strong communities are built by the daily choices of their members. Every respectful word, on-task moment, and accountable action this month has made our community stronger.

  • What does our class do now that it didn’t do on the first day of school? Be specific.
  • Nobody announced those changes — they just happened. So who actually built them?
